Labor Law and Employment Law is the diverse area of the law involving legal and regulatory issues exclusively related to employment and labor, or the service of one person or a group of persons under any contract of hire, express or implied, oral or written, for another person or entity, or employer, where the later has the ability to control and direct how work is to be performed. Put simply, this legal area addresses the relationship of employer to employee and various legal issues stemming therein.
